Telangana Hyderabad - TSPSC likely to add more vacancies in Group-II

The Group-II and III notices that were sent out in 2022 are unlikely to be revoked by the telangana State Public service Commission (TSPSC). Before conducting an examination, the commission may, however, add vacancies to the current Group-II announcement by an amendment. The commission may provide jobless adolescents who haven't applied yet the chance to register for recruitment after issuing an update.

The Finance Department has not yet approved any new positions, so an amendment is anticipated to take some time, according to sources. They also mentioned that the TSPSC may soon release the dates of the Group-III services examination. On december 29, 2022, under the former BRS government system, the TSPSC released a notification to fill 783 positions in 18 departments in Group-II services. 5,51,943 applicants submitted applications in response to this notice.

In the same vein, on december 30, 2022, 1,363 Group-III cadre postings were announced. Twelve additional jobs were soon added, bringing the total to 1,375. 5,36,477 contenders were vying to pass the Group III exam. The Group-II services recruitment test was originally slated for august 29 and 30, 2023, however, it was rescheduled for november 2 and 3, 2023, at the request of applicants who needed additional time to prepare.

Nevertheless, the TSPSC was forced to postpone once again until january 6 and 7, 2024, as the november dates conflicted with the timetable of the Legislative assembly elections. The Group-II recruitment exam was postponed as a result of the resignations of Dr. B Janardhan Reddy, the former chairman of the TSPSC, and other members following the Congress's formation of the State government. The new dates for the Group-II exams have not yet been announced by the TSPSC.
