He stated that assuring drinking water supply is the government's top concern, followed by solving irrigation needs.
The hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has been asked to make aggressive efforts to ensure adequate drinking water supply throughout the summer months. Reservoirs that receive water from the krishna and Godavari rivers have not reached critical levels, easing fears about water scarcity. To further mitigate future shortages, the Water Board is building pumping motors near the Sunkishala intake project, which is slated to be operational by September.
This effort intends to pump water into main distribution lines if reservoir levels fall drastically. minister Ponnam prabhakar reaffirmed the state government's commitment to using all available central government money and carrying out every plan provided by the Centre. He emphadata-sized the government's support for the Centre's programs, claiming that there are no disparities between the state and central administrations.
