‘KCR, Harish lying’

"KCR and harish rao have been spreading lies about the congress administration. kcr had claimed that the Centre created every term of the Bifurcation Act based on his requests. The BRS is now attempting to blame congress for its wrongdoings. The Act split projects on the krishna and Godavari rivers between telangana and andhra pradesh," he remarked during a news conference on sunday, february 4.
Speaking further, revanth stated that the Centre constituted a committee to deliberate on the 811 TMC krishna water share between the states, with andhra pradesh receiving 512 TMC and telangana receiving 299 TMC.

"KCR and his officials agreed on the decision, signed the documents, and ensured that andhra pradesh received additional water. In 2022, they decided to allocate 15 krishna projects to the Centre. They have included Rs 400 crores in the budget for the KRMB and GRMB in 2023," he added.
He added that kcr did not raise any queries regarding the projects in parliament when the bifurcation Bill was introduced.
"BRS is demanding a 50% share of water from the krishna River..."These projects were entrusted to the Centre while kcr and harish rao were in charge," he remarked.
