Telangana Hyderabad - Decade Passed, SCB Officials Ignore Road Works

SIBY JEYYA
Because so many tragic accidents have occurred in a single month, nearly all of the entry roads inside the secunderabad Cantonment data-borders must be re-carpeted. The residents said that the SCB officials purposely failed to fix the civilian roads and that walkers are still not permitted on a few of them.

Residents questioned why the SCB entry roads had not been fixed. They also pointed out that all of the significant access routes, including east Marredpally, Willington Gate, Ammuguda Gate, allahabad Gate, Roberts Road, and Safilguda Road, are not as well-maintained as the LMA's roadways. In addition to this issue, early morning walkers are not allowed to enter the golf course area, and a few buses, including the 211M, 24E/E, 3P, 24EE, and 34E, should be reinstated, as locals in these areas are having difficulty commuting.

C S Chandrashekar, Secretary, Federation of North Eastern Colonies of secunderabad, said, "Why is there a disparity in roads in SCB?" All-access roads have not been fixed, and individuals are said to be falling off two-wheelers at allahabad Gate daily. It appears that SCB authorities are intentionally not fixing the roads to deter citizens from commuting."
"For over a decade, the bulk of the entry roads in the secunderabad Cantonment data-borders have remained unrepaired, and no one appears to be worried about the safety of the civilians who use these roads to travel. The number of accidents at SCB has increased by 10%. It would be ideal if all roads were expanded and unlawful speed bumps eliminated. At the very least, the SCB should reply to the public grievance site and resolve the road concerns soon. Our other issue is that morning walkers are still not permitted to stroll on a few areas, particularly Bolarum, near Rashtrapati Nilayam Road," said Nikhil, a SCB resident.
