Ilaiyaraaja shares an old picture with daughter Bhavatharini...


Bhavatharini, the daughter of Ilaiyaraaja, lost her battle with cancer on Thursday. While receiving treatment in sri lanka, the late singer who had won numerous national awards passed away. The music legend shared a photo of himself and his late daughter on X a day after she passed away.  


Ilaiyaraaja sent Bhavatharini an old black-and-white picture of him grinning and showing his daughter something while sporting headphones and a white kurta.  Her dead remains, meanwhile, have been transported from sri lanka to Ilaiyaraaja's chennai residence. 

On Thursday, the demise of M K stalin, the chief minister of tamil Nadu, was condoled by telangana Governor tamilisai soundararajan, puducherry Lieutenant Governor, and other individuals.  Stalin recalled that Bhavatharini had taken home a National Award for her portrayal of national poet Subramanya Bharathy in the movie "Bharathy." He claimed that the vacuum she left behind will never go away.  Soundararajan added that Bhavatharini's beautiful voice won her a particular place in the audience's hearts and that she sent her condolences and sorrow to the deceased's family. Bhavatharini followed in her father's footsteps and became well-known for her roles in Hindi, tamil, and telugu movies. yuvan shankar raja and karthi Raja, her brothers, are also music directors.

 At an early age, Bhavatharini started singing, contributing to songs written by her siblings and father. The song "Raasaiya," which she released as her debut, became a huge smash. She performed as a singer in albums and movies directed by a variety of music directors, such as deva and Sirpy, over her career.  

She won the 2000 National Film Award for Best Female Playback singer for her performance in the movie "Bharathi"'s song "Mayil Pola Ponnu Onnu."  

Bhavatharini provided vocals for songs in Hindi, tamil, and telugu motion pictures. Bhavatharini also tried her hand at writing music. In 2002, she directed her first music video, "Mitr, My Friend," in Hindi. She developed her compositional abilities even more in the telugu movie "Avunaa."
