Live: Grand Opening Of Ayodhya Ram Temple

SIBY JEYYA
Today marks the start of the "pran pratishtha" ritual at the ram temple in Ayodhya. After years of court battles, ram Lalla (Lord Rama in the shape of a five-year-old kid) is returning to his birthplace, and a magnificent temple has been erected on the site of the Babri Masjid. The supreme court found that the Masjid was built to demolish the temple.
According to tradition, a ram temple existed at the site, but babur razed it in the sixteenth century to build a Masjid. Since then, the matter has been fraught with controversy. The idols of Rama and Sita were put in the mosque in 1949, and the most dramatic turn of events occurred in 1992 when Karsewaks assaulted and smashed the mosque.
After the Archaeological survey of india (ASI) discovered a non-Muslim building beneath the Masjid, the supreme court ruled in 2019 to award the contested property to Hindus for temple construction, while Muslims would be allocated land elsewhere to build a mosque. The temple, which celebrated its Bhoomi pooja in 2020, is still under construction, and the pran Pratishtha is taking place now. Celebrities from all around the country are in ayodhya to commemorate the occasion. The entire country is celebrating ram Lalla's homecoming. watch the ayodhya ram Mandir's consecration ritual or "pran pratishtha" live.
