Why Dil Raju Opted Out Of This Tamil Film?

SIBY JEYYA
The ace producer dil Raju's plans to release not one, but two films during the Sankranthi 2023 season is one of the greatest stories that has recently rocked Tollywood. While Ajith's Thunivu is probably the dubbed movie he would bring here, Vijay's Varisu (Varasudu in Telugu) is his own production. Now comes the twist.

According to reports, two new producers have acquired the theatrical rights to the telugu version of Ajith's movie Thunivu, which would likely be called "Tegimpu" in this country. Many people are speculating as to whether these two new producers will be able to get theatres for Ajith's film, regardless of whether dil raju supported them or whether they bought the rights on their own. And it's at this point that dil raju allegedly abandoned his plan to purchase Thunivu.

Even though Vijay's film clashes with Ajith's, Raju is alleged to have set Thunivu aside because of concern that the tamil star could suffer if the producer releases both movies. The movie is reportedly already in theatres, and there are rumours that Raju will fund the release of the movie on the back end. While these two tamil movies are on one side, telugu blockbusters Waltair Veerayya and Veerasimha reddy from balayya and megastar are the front-runners for Sankranthi 2023.
