Jagan counter to TDP: To seek Bharat Ratna for NTR?
Given that they had shown complete disregard for ntr while he was alive and were accountable, albeit indirectly, for his death, the YSRCP leaders' claim that the tdp leaders, including their president N Chandrababu Naidu, lack locus standi and a moral right to object to the decision may be partially justified.
However, it has hurt the feelings of regular ntr fans and ordinary people in general who still hold the iconic actor and former chief minister in high regard. Many people argue that the tdp leaders may not have a moral right to object to Jagan's decision. Therefore, they have every right to contest the jagan government's choice, which can work against the YSRC in the upcoming elections. Since they weren't persuaded by Jagan's case before the assembly, the YSRC leadership must respond to them.
