It is said that industrialist-turned-politician Galla Jayadev, an mp for the telugu desam party from the guntur parliamentary district, has become tired of andhra pradesh politics. Despite being from the chittoor district, Galla was compelled to run in the last two elections from the guntur parliamentary district due to the domination of members of his community there.
However, he is reportedly uneasy about Andhra politics for a number of reasons. Although his mother galla aruna kumari served as a serious and full-time politician during the congress rule in united andhra pradesh, he is more of an industrialist than a politician. Since Jayadev is still an mp and has political ties to his commercial interests, he is staying in politics now that Aruna Kumari has all but given up on it. Therefore, he must continue his political career.
Galla has, however, felt the heat of Andhra politics for the past three years as the congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">ysr congress party government, which is led by chief minister Y S jagan Mohan Reddy, has been accusing him of being involved in a witch hunt and causing a lot of problems for his industrial company, Amara Raja. According to insiders, Galla is not interested in running from guntur or even in andhra pradesh itself because he is tired of the caste-based politics there, even if tdp President N chandrababu naidu gets him a ticket once more. Galla is reportedly thinking about moving his headquarters to telangana in order to further his business empire.
