Ahan Shetty and pooja hegde are starring in a feature film that was just announced by sajid nadiadwala, one of India's most renowned producers. The director then revealed that the picture, which is being directed by Adnan Shaikh and Yasir Jah, is called Sanki. We exclusively learned that Sanki is an original love tale penned by trailblazing producer sajid nadiadwala, despite the industry's widespread speculation that it is a remake of the tamil film Adanga Maru, starring jayam Ravi.
A source claims, "At one point, sajid nadiadwala had plans to direct anurag singh in Adanga Maru, starring varun Dhawan. But in the post-pandemic world, things took a turn for the worst, and VD decided to forgo a remake. Sajid believes Adanga Maru has a lot of potential to succeed in hindi and plans to bring the project back in 2025 with a new cast. He would surely adapt the screenplay for a large screen production since it is one that he is attached to."
The insider went on to say that although Adanga Maru starring varun Dhawan was given the title Sanki, it had nothing to connect with the films that Sajid was producing before the outbreak. Preparations are now in progress, and Sajid has promised to start shooting the movie in june 2024. "The two-month adventure on Sanki is beginning to end, and Sajid has stated that he plans to release the movie on Valentine's Day in 2025. Ahan is now preparing to portray the deformed Sanki character in this action movie," the insider added.
