Illegal to photograph lactating Women?

According to a new rule in england and Wales, it has become illegal to photograph lactating women in public without their consent. According to a report, those caught doing so without consent could data-face up to two years in prison. This proposal was placed before parliament on Tuesday. It said that this law will be a part of the Crime, Punishment, and Courts Bill. It has been included as an amendment by the Ministry of Justice.

While talking about the matter, Justice Secretary Dominic Raab said, this law is to help such women who are harassed for purposes of complacency or harassment.

Raab said, 'No mother should be harassed like this. We are committed to doing everything possible to protect women, make them feel safe, and give them more confidence in the justice system. In fact, according to a BBC report, earlier in April, Manchester-based designer Julia Cooper started a campaign to make it a crime to take pictures of breastfeeding mothers in public.

The woman said, 'Recently I was breastfeeding my daughter. During this, a person was sitting on a nearby bench. I found his actions somewhat strange. Although before I could say anything, he took out his wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">digital camera, put a zoom lens in it, and started taking a picture. Efforts were being made to implement this law only after this incident. At the same time, now this law is being seen as a concrete step for the safety of women.
