Kannada film superstar Puneeth Rajkumar suffered a heart attack while exercising this morning. puneet rajkumar succumbed to his health after being admitted to a hospital in Bangalore in critical condition.

Puneeth Rajkumar, 46, has a huge fan base in kannada cinema. Let's take a look at the path traversed by kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar who won the hearts of many fans and some interesting things that will never be forgotten.


Punith Rajkumar was born in Chennai. He is the fifth child of legendary kannada actor Rajkumar and Parvathamma Rajkumar. His real childhood name was Lohit. 

When Puneet was six years old, his family migrated to Mysore. Until the age of ten, his father would bring Puneet and his sister purnima to film collections. His elder brother is the famous actor shiva Rajkumar.

Puneet Rajkumar married aswini in 1999. They have two daughters, Vandita and Triti. As puneet rajkumar often went to his father’s film sets, he learned acting well. He was also one of the most popular child stars of the sacred industry, having worked on over 16 films.

Not many people know that puneet rajkumar appeared in the film when he was six months old. She co-starred with her father Rajkumar in the 1976 film 'Prematha Kanike'. 


Puneeth Rajkumar won the National Award for Best Child Star for his film 'Bettada Who' directed by N. Lakshminarayan based on the novel. Puneet played the innocent ramu in the film.

Puneeth Rajkumar is not just an actor. He is a good singer like the legendary actor Dr Rajkumar. At the age of six, he recorded his first song, "Bana Thariyalli Surya" from the 1982 film Bhagyavanda, composed by renowned composer DG Lingappa. 


Puneeth Rajkumar won his first karnataka State Film Award for Best Child Star for the film 'Salisuva Mothakalu' released in 1982-83. 

Puneeth Rajkumar is known as Appu and power star in kannada cinema. The name 'Appu' was given to him by his fans after the movie 'Appu'. 


Through this film, Puneeth made his debut as a leading actor in kannada cinema. He subsequently starred in several films including Government, Milana, Vamsi, Jackie and rose to be a leading actor. His last film was Yuvaratna. 

He is not only an actor but also a dubbing artist, producer and screenwriter. Even though Puneeth Rajkumar, who created so many achievements and took place in the minds of the people, has passed away, his memories will remain indelibly etched in the minds of the people.
