Most of the girls use sanitary pads during periods, the chemical contained in these pads is very dangerous, due to which women are at risk of Ovary cancer and also there can also be a problem of infertility. After a recent study, it was further confirmed that the pads should be used thoughtfully or else one can choose another option. 


Actually, the pad absorbs blood well, so girls prefer to use it more. But is it completely safe to use sanitary pads that come in handy during these difficult days, pads that have the ability to absorb blood for a long time, agents like dioxin and super-absorbent polymers are used in them. Due to the accumulating nature of dioxin in the body, cervical cancer or ovarian cancer can occur. That's why it is said that the pad must be changed every 3-4 hours.

Dioxin: Dioxin is a chemical, which is used to bleach sanitary pads. Dioxin is very harmful to the body.

Pesticides: The cotton used to make sanitary pads often contains some pesticides, which are sprayed on it by the farmers during cultivation and then the cotton is ready.

Artificial Perfume: To make the pads fragrant, artificial perfume is used in it. These are chemicals that are not considered safe, due to which there is a serious problem like not being able to conceive.

Disadvantages of bleach

The cotton that is prepared first is yellow in color but later it is made white by adding bleach, which contains many chemicals and these chemicals cause danger to the liver, not only this, swelling in the ovaries, itching, vaginal problems are many. Creates other types of problems, which later lead to cancer.
