While Munawar Faruqui was one of the front-runners this season, many thought he was a 'set winner' chosen by the producers due to his popularity. Munawar received a cash reward of Rs 50 lakh and a brand new automobile. The grand finale of 'Bigg Boss 17' was held on january 28 in Mumbai.
Munawar told india Herald, "Main nahi janta (I don't know)." I always believed I had a 50/50 chance of winning since abhishek deserved it just as much. "This tag only sounds very fixed," he said with a giggle.
The winner went on to say that he won the competition because of the audience's 'love' for him. "I understand I made some mistakes, and I had to suffer the weight of them. I was also judged for it. However, in the real world, I have done some nice actions, and as a result, I have earned the adoration of my admirers. Their well wishes and support have helped me go this far. "I am extremely grateful to them," he stated.
