Maha Shivratri: Bhog items for the festival!!!

Every year, in february or march, Hindus celebrate maha Shivratri, a holiday dedicated to the god Shiva. According to the Hindu calendar, the event is observed on the fourteenth day of the dark (waning) half of the lunar month of Phalguna or Magha. The significant anniversary will be marked with great grandeur and enthusiasm on march 8 this year. The event commemorates the union of shiva and Parvati as well as the Tandava, or moment when shiva dances. According to Hinduism, it is a significant event that symbolizes the "overcoming of darkness and ignorance" in the universe and existence. Prayers are chanted, fasts are observed, shiva is remembered, and principles and virtues like honesty, forgiveness, generosity, and discovering shiva are contemplated.

On this day, Bhole shankar is ceremoniously honored with belpatra, bhang, dhatura, madar flower, white sandalwood, white flowers, ganga water, and cow's milk. It is said that if one worships shiva and Parvati and fasts on Mahashivratri, then all wishes will come true. Even though all that lord shiva needs is a pot of water and Belpatra, there are additional sacrifices and prasad that, when offered to lord shiva, bestow upon them the unique benefits of Mahadev.

Malpua: During the puja on the day of Mahashivratri, offer Lord Bholenath malpua that has been cooked with desi ghee at home. Malpua is a favorite food of Shivji.

Thandai: Cannabis is used in the worship of Lord Shiva. On this day, you can also give Bhang Thandai. Mahadev will be placated and your wishes will be fulfilled.

Panchamrit: You can offer Lord shankar bhang and panchamrit as naivedya during the Mahashivratri worship period. This is also regarded as Lord Shiva's most cherished sacrifice.

Sweets: Offer any white, cow's milk-based confection during Mahashivratri worship. This is thought to be a good offering to win Lord Shiva's blessings. Honey and sugar are also frequently offered.

Makhana Kheer: You can gift lord shiva makhana kheer made from cow's milk. You can also serve rice kheer.
