TDP,BJP fighting 'Warangal' war?
TDP and BJP entered into an alliance to stop the TRS juggernaut in Telangana. Though they couldn't stop KCR and TRS from becoming CM and ruling the state, they put up good resistance especially in the state capital Hyderabad.Happy with the success they are continuing the alliance and taking on TRS government and KCR's high handed ways. However byelections to Waraganal LokSabha is creating differences between them.
Even before the formal announcement, selection of candidate is becoming contentious issue for BJP and TDP. While BJP contested last elections with TDP support, TDP is now planning to contest.While Kishan Reddy,Telangana BJP president says it is noting wrong for TDP to aspire for the seat,he said they shouldn't disturb the earlier arrangement. However TDP Qutbullapur MLA Vivekananda Goud says his party has better chance of winning the elections.
But BJP is in no mood to listen as they feel with the announcement of Warangal as smart city by PM Modi, they can easily win the seat. It has to be seen how TDP-BJP will solve this Warangal War.
