The Telangana ACB has reportedly said recently that it would speed up the course of investigations into the ‘Cash-for-vote’ scandal. After all the sensation in the form of Revanth Reddy’s arrest, now sources say that the internment is slowly losing steam. One can only wonder whether this was the case which got nationwide attention just two months ago.
The public has now more or less come to the conclusion that a compromise was indeed arrived at and now whatever is happening is just a drama. From the tense situation involving possible summons being issued to Chandrababu Naidu, now ACB is serving notices to car drivers, maids and cooks in Babu’s household.
There may be no such bigger anti-climax of late, even as Andhra Pradesh CID is after drivers and servants. Now many people are asking whether tall statements from KCR and CBN was all worth the headlines and hungama. Well if there is understanding at higher level, anything can be diluted!
