Finalize our rights & assets in Hyderabad!!

The ongoing tussle between the newly formed states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is taking interesting turns by the day. This time the reason for infighting was due to Srisailam dam power generation. And here comes another issue now. Responding to AP CM Chandrababu’s letter to Krishna Water Board asking them to rein in Telangana government, Telangana CM KCR declared that TS has a stake in Srisailam and also upcoming Hinduja and Krishnapatnam power plants in Coastal Andhra. This open assertion of rights has baffled many on the other side given the fact that there was anti-Andhra propaganda all the time before and also after achieving separate statehood. So, they are now coming up with a new demand. There is a growing chorus that although this was neglected in the bifurcation bill, time has come for Andhras to decide the stake and their rights in Hyderabad, which was their capital for 60 years. It has to be seen how KCR is going to respond to this demand.
