White House Communication Director thanked Trump's administration
Washington sources have stated that White House Communications Director Hope Hicks said that she is resigning. Accordingly Hopes becomes the fourth person to leave the post during Trump's tenure and sources have stated that the 29 year old former model and ex-Trump Organization employee has been one of US President Trump's longest-serving advisers.
Meanwhile she is reported to have told colleagues she felt she had accomplished all she could in the White House. Further White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said it remained unclear when Hicks would leave the administration. Meanwhile according to the report, Hicks is reported to have admitted to the panel that she had occasionally told what amounted to "white lies" for Trump.
Moreover she first seriously considered resigning in the wake of the
scandal involving former senior aide Rob Porter, whose public defense Hicks
helped craft while also dating him at the time. Furthermore Trump praised Hicks
as "outstanding as she is as smart and thoughtful as they come, a truly
great person. He will miss having her by his side but when she approached him
about pursuing other opportunities, He totally understood and is sure we will
work together again in the future".
