Harish Rao given alert information by AP Minister
As per report from sources a day after the Apex Council meeting in New Delhi where AP and Telangana governments have fought tooth nail over water sharing issue, AP Irrigation minister Uma Maheshwara Rao and his Telangana counterpart T Harish Rao have turned as good friends.
It was stated that the AP minister has called
Harish on phone and has alerted the latter the heavy inflows due to heavy rains
at Pulichintala project on river Krishna, which is located in Nalgonda district
at AP and Telangana data-border.
When he was alerted by Devineni phone call, Harish immediately has asked irrigation officials to rush to the nearby villages of the project facing the threat of submergence and shift people to safe zones and Devineni has also informed Harish that water levels has already increased abnormally at project posing the treat if all low lying areas any time.
Meanwhile presently Harish is also monitoring the
situation in coordination with AP minister on phone since morning.
