School timings changed in Patna amid rising cold!
People are in a bad condition due to severe cold in patna, the capital of Bihar. In view of this, patna district Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has changed the school timings. According to this, classes in all private and government schools of patna district will be conducted from 9 am to 4 pm only. After this, any educational activity will be banned. This order came on last wednesday (01 january, 2025).
Decision taken in view of increasing cold
In the order issued by patna DM, it is written, "There is a situation of extreme cold and low temperature in the district, especially in the morning and evening, due to which the health and life of children are likely to be adversely affected. Due to this, I, Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, district Magistrate, patna, under Section 163 of the indian Civil Security Code, ban educational activities for all classes in all private/government schools (including pre-schools and Anganwadi centers) of the district before 09.00 am and after 04.00 pm."
In the order issued by the DM, it is further written, "The school management is hereby directed that they will reschedule the educational activities in accordance with the mentioned order. The conduct of special classes/examinations to be conducted for pre-board/board examinations will be exempted from this. The above order will be applicable in patna district from january 02 and will remain effective till january 06."
No order for special classes
No order has been implemented for special classes to prepare for board exams. They will run on their scheduled time. That is, the studies of the children preparing for board exams will not stop. However, the order of patna DM will be applicable only from 2 to 6 january 2025. After this, schools will open at normal time. Keeping in mind the health of the children, the DM has changed the time.
