Senior aam aadmi party leader and candidate from Jangpura manish Sisodia has once again attacked the bjp on wednesday (11 december 2024). He has accused the bjp of cutting the votes of voters in seven more assembly constituencies of Delhi. He said that the bjp is getting votes cut by putting pressure on the election Commission. That is, the bjp is bent on destroying the Constitution and democracy.

bjp is getting votes cut - Raghav Chadha

aam aadmi party Rajya Sabha mp Raghav Chadha said during a press conference that in seven assemblies of Delhi, from october 29 till today i.e. after the voter summary revision, a total of 22,649 applications have been received by the election commission for cutting votes. Many of these objectors are directly associated with the BJP. According to Raghav Chadha, bjp workers have given applications to the ec to cut the votes of other people. He has accused the bjp of cutting more than 22,000 votes in 7 assembly constituencies of Delhi. In Janakpuri assembly constituency, 24 such people have been identified, who have given 4,874 applications. These applications have been given to cut the votes of voters. All these 24 people are associated with BJP.

AAP mp Raghav Chadha further said that the election commission received a total of 3,861 applications for cutting votes from Karawal Nagar. Out of these, 3,260 applications were given by only two people. Similarly, in Tughlakabad, out of 4,016, 2,435 applications were given by only 15 people. These 15 are connected to BJP. In Mustafabad, only one person has applied to cut the votes of 534 people. The AAP mp also said that less than two months are left for the elections. In such a situation, it is not understood why there is a need to cut votes now? Whereas the work of summary revision has been completed recently. The second question is who are behind the bulk deletion? The election commission has a rule that a person cannot apply for more than ten votes to be deleted in a day. Whereas one person has submitted hundreds of applications in a day.
