Previously in the year 1712, james Watt discovered the power of steam for the first time and built the first steam engine. At the same time, in the year 1807, the world's first successful train was run in South Wales, Britain. However, with time, many changes have taken place in trains. After coal, steam, petroleum and electricity, now it is the turn of hydrogen trains. Yes, soon hydrogen-powered trains will be seen on the tracks in India. Let us know what kind of trains these will be and what has been known about them so far.

Perhaps first of all, let us know what is a hydrogen train? So let us tell you that these trains will be run on hydrogen fuel. Also, harmful pollutants like carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and particulate matter will not be emitted in it. The design of this hydrogen train has been prepared by the Railway Design and Standards Organization (RDSO). RDSO has worked hard on this project and has designed a modern and safe hydrogen train. Let us tell you that this hydrogen train has been manufactured at Integral Coach Factory (IFC) Chennai. IFC chennai is the largest railway coach factory in the country and has demonstrated its capability many times.

Moreover RDSO has recently released the first picture of this hydrogen train. This picture is becoming increasingly viral on social media and people are very excited. This hydrogen train will run between Jind and Sonipat in Haryana. This route has been chosen because it is a short and flat route and it will be easy to set up hydrogen filling stations here. At present, there is a plan to start this train by March-April. However, this date can also change. It is worth noting that this hydrogen train will have a total of 8 coaches and it will run at a speed of 110 km per hour. This train has been made completely with indigenous technology. Giving information about this hydrogen train, RDSO director Uday Bhorvankar said that this is a proud moment for India. He said that this train will not only promote the use of clean energy but will also help in making the country energy self-reliant.
