Devendra Fadnavis said 'Vote Jihad started in the state now'

As per report maharashtra deputy chief minister devendra fadnavis, while campaigning for the assembly elections to be held on november 20, said here on saturday that "vote jihad" should be answered with a "Dharmayuddha" of votes. The bjp leader said in a rally organized in support of Mahayuti alliance candidates Atul Save (Aurangabad East), Sanjay Shirsat (Aurangabad West) and pradeep Jaiswal (Aurangabad Central) that no one can change the name of this city now.

Meanwhile the bjp leader said that in the AIMIM (All india Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) rally, someone asked who Sambhaji Maharaj was. Sambhaji Maharaj remained undefeated for nine years, so we have named the city after him.'This city was earlier known as Aurangabad. It was renamed after Sambhaji, the second ruler of the maratha Empire after Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj. fadnavis said, "Vote jihad has started in the state now. He said that we saw it in the lok sabha elections. In Dhule, we were ahead by 1.90 lakh votes, but in Malegaon (Assembly constituency) we had 1.94 lakh votes and we lost by only 4,000 votes. This vote jihad became the reason for our defeat because we were not united. He said that Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has given the message of 'If divided, we will be cut' and prime minister Narendra Modi has said that 'If we stay together, we will be safe'.

Moreover the deputy cm said that this election is an opportunity to show that Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was a saffron fort. Without naming shiv sena (UBT) chief and former bjp ally uddhav thackeray, fadnavis said late shiv sena chief bal thackeray had named the city 'Sambhajinagar' and "now some people are ashamed to call bal thackeray Hindu Hriday Samrat and they call him 'Janaab' Bal Thackeray.
