A ninth-grader from Muzaffarpur, bihar, had an unthinkable moment of prosperity when a banking blunder momentarily credited his account with an incredible Rs 87.65 crore. This was an absolutely extraordinary sequence of events. Saif Ali, 15, was involved in the episode, which lasted only five hours before the enormous money unexpectedly disappeared, leaving a trail of uncertainty and prompting a bank inquiry.

At a nearby cyber café, Saif started his unanticipated trip into the world of high finance. He chose to take out a small sum of Rs 500 from his North bihar Gramin bank account while he was taking care of some personal business. An enormous amount, Rs 87.65 crore, was shown on the screen in place of the anticipated balance. At first, both Saif and the proprietor of the computer cafe were in disbelief and blamed the display on a technical malfunction. Nevertheless, the startling balance was verified by many tests.

Word of this unexpected windfall circulated swiftly. Saif told his mother about his finding with great excitement, and she informed a village acquaintance. This person found that the enormous amount had vanished when they visited a customer Service Point (CSP) for a bank statement, leaving a corrected balance of Rs 532. After the account was blocked, Saif's temporary millionaire status became an oddity.

Only five hours were needed to complete the full program. bank personnel verified that the money had disappeared and that the balance had returned to normal when Saif and his family went to the bank to report the occurrence. To ascertain how such a substantial amount might have been mistakenly credited to Saif's account, an internal inquiry is currently under progress.
Despite the bank's silence, local officials believe cybercriminals are involved. Cyber DSP seema Devi offered commentary on the incident, pointing out how common these cybercrimes are and speculating that fraudsters may have been using Saif's account for a while before the mistake was detected.
Saif and his family haven't, however, submitted an official complaint to the cyber police station.
