CM Yogi met the family of Mohit, victim of police brutality
Mohit Pandey died in police custody in Chinhat police station of lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, due to which politics has heated up in UP. Meanwhile, chief minister yogi Adityanath met the family of deceased Mohit Pandey at the government residence. cm yogi has given financial assistance of 10 lakhs to Mohit Pandey's family and said that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
Information about the meeting of cm yogi and Mohit's family has also been given from cm yogi Adityanath's office. Posting on Instagram, it was written - "The victim family of Chinhat, lucknow met cm yogi today at his official residence. On this occasion, Bakshi Ka Talab assembly constituency mla Yogesh Shukla and regional councilors were also present." The post further reads- "CM yogi has expressed his condolences to the victim's family and directed the concerned officials to provide immediate financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh, a house, free education to children and other government schemes to the family. In this hour of grief, the UP government stands with the victim's family with full commitment."
At the same time, the police Commissioner has already taken major action in this case and on sunday itself ordered the removal of Chinhat police station in-charge (SHO) Ashwani Chaturvedi and in his place Sub Inspector Bharat Pathak has been appointed as the new station in-charge of Chinhat police station.
In this entire case, the police claim that Mohit's health suddenly deteriorated and after taking him to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead, the family alleges that Mohit was beaten to death. A CCTV footage of this case also surdata-faced, in which his health was seen deteriorating. In this footage, it was seen that another person in the lockup was trying to help Mohit.
