Uttar Pradesh News: A major accident has happened in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday. 8 members of a family of Nat community living in a hut on the side of the highway in Mallawan town of the district died together when they were sleeping inside their hut. A truck carrying sand suddenly overturned on the hut due to the driver losing control, due to which all the people sleeping inside died due to being buried under it. After this accident on unnao highway in Mallawan Kotwali area, the police have taken the truck driver and helper into custody.

Only one girl is left alive in the family

As soon as the information of the accident in Kotwali police station area on Mallawan-Unnao highway was received, the police reached the spot. The truck was overturned on the hut of Awadhesh alias Balla near Chungi number-2 and sand was scattered. The police immediately started the rescue operation by calling JCB, but after removing the truck and sand, 8 bodies were recovered from inside. These included four innocent children. Seeing the dead bodies, the eyes of the people around filled with tears. On removing the sand, a girl was found injured, who has been admitted to the community health center of Mallawan. The survival of the girl in the accident is being considered a miracle.

These people died in the accident

The people killed in the accident have been identified as Awadhesh alias Balla (45), his wife Sudha alias Mundi (42), their daughters, Sunaina (11), Lalla (5), Buddhu (4) and hero (22), besides Hero's husband Karan (25) resident of Kaspet (Bilgram Kotwali) and her daughter Komal alias Bihari (5). The injured girl found is Awadhesh's daughter Bittu.

The truck was coming from kanpur to Hardoi

The police have taken truck driver Awadhesh resident of Chhibramau (Bilgram Kotwali) and helper Rohit resident of Anang Behta (Hardoi city Kotwali) into custody. Both of them told that they had taken the truck full of sand from kanpur and they had to deliver it in Hardoi. The police have started further action by sending all the bodies for post-mortem.
