A post posted by a startup owner asking high-earning individuals to leave the country has become a trend on social media. A user on Reddit had posted a post stating that it was time to leave India. In it, he wrote that it was time for high-earning individuals to leave the country. The anonymous Reddit user said that he was saying this as someone who has started and run a good business. He had written that this is not the right place for those who want to innovate and start a new business.
He mentioned that if we want to succeed in a business, we need to have connections with government officials and support from politicians, and there are stupid regulations in india that prevent innovators from growing. We helped the police to properly resolve a fraud case that occurred through their app and recover the money from the victims, but in that case, the police asked for a bribe to free us. He also said that the highest tax is collected in India. But the road infrastructure, medical infrastructure, etc. are not up to par. Leave india and go to countries like the uae or thailand because the government is imposing GST even on popcorn to reach a $5 trillion economy, he said.
Although his post has now been deleted, the comments posted by other Reddit users under it still show. It is not known why the post was deleted. However, his post has received comments from many quarters. A user mentioned that india collects a lot of taxes but does not provide any facilities like road transport, healthcare, or infrastructure to the common people, while corruption and pollution are increasing day by day.
