Meanwhile, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejaswi Yadav on tuesday expressed displeasure over not including any Muslim mp in the Union Cabinet. He said that everyone should be taken along, whatever their religion or caste. Everyone should be respected.

While bjp has tried to balance caste equations in bihar through the eight ministers appointed from bihar during narendra Modi's third swearing-in as Prime minister, it has also stressed on regional balance. By appointing eight people from bihar as ministers in the new cabinet and giving this state a big share in the Union cabinet, bjp has made it clear that the PM is also eyeing Bihar's development. Out of the eight ministers who have been given a place in this cabinet, four have been made cabinet ministers. These include four from bjp, two from JDU and one each from LJP (Ram Vilas) and Hindustani Awam Morcha.
