Some atala and old stuff including sofa mattresses were kept here. Probably this is what caught fire.

In fact, last evening, on the occasion of the swearing-in ceremony of the nda government, a fire broke out on the fourth floor of the bharatiya janata party office after BJP's Depalpur mla Manoj patel and workers burst crackers.

The fire brigade came and extinguished the fire

This incident took place at the bjp office located in Jawara Compound at around 9:15 pm, when the workers were celebrating the swearing-in ceremony and releasing rockets. But during this time, a rocket exploded on the fourth floor and a fire broke out. The police and fire brigade immediately reached the spot and controlled the situation. There is no news of any casualty in the incident. The fire was quickly extinguished before it spread to other floors of the building.

The fire brigade team said that as soon as the news was received, fire engines were rushed to the spot. Two of these vehicles brought the fire under control within an hour. More than 30,000 liters of water was used to completely extinguish the fire.

Power supply cut off on two feeders as a precaution

Due to the fire incident at the bjp office, West Discom cut off power supply on two feeders. West Discom officials said that since the incident site was close to the 11 KV power line passing near the building in Javra Compound, the supply was cut off as a precaution to avoid power outage due to the fire, which was later restored.
