Madhya Pradesh chief minister Dr Mohan Yadav did road shows and campaigning in UP, Bihar, but did not let his grip loosen in Madhya Pradesh. chief minister Dr Mohan Yadav has created history by breaking into the stronghold of Congress. For the first time since independence, this is the first time when the flag of bharatiya janata party has been hoisted on all 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh.


Since the independence of the country, congress and bjp have had good and bad times in the lok sabha elections in madhya pradesh, but this is the first time when the bharatiya janata party has registered its victory on all 29 lok sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh. chief minister Mohan Yadav's stature has increased in the party with this election result. However, to win 29 lok sabha seats, chief minister Dr Mohan Yadav continuously broke into the stronghold of Congress. congress MLA Kamlesh Pratap Shah was made to join bjp on Chhindwara lok sabha seat. After this, the mayor was also brought to BJP. Not only this, two more sitting congress MLAs joined bjp before the elections. This made BJP's position stronger.


42 MLAs and many big leaders joined BJP


After the completion of the assembly elections in madhya pradesh, before the lok sabha elections, the bharatiya janata party got 42 MLAs, former MLAs, former Union Ministers, former MPs and congress leaders holding various important posts in the congress to join the BJP. For the first time in madhya pradesh, a membership drive was conducted at the ward and tehsil level to include everyone from congress workers to big leaders in the BJP.


Congress tried its luck on only 27 seats


This was also the first time in the history of madhya pradesh when congress contested only 27 seats against the Bharatiya Janata Party. On the Khajuraho lok sabha seat, the candidate of the "India" alliance made a mistake in filing the nomination, due to which his nomination was cancelled. Whereas in Indore, the congress candidate supported the BJP. Thus, for the first time since independence, congress was able to contest only 27 seats.
