The lok sabha elections have been completed in the country. Apart from this, assembly by-elections were also held in many states. The public has voted for their favorite candidate and sent him to the House. The candidates have also spent a lot of money to convey their message to the public. Now every candidate contesting the lok sabha elections will have to give an account of the election expenditure to the election commission within 30 days. During this time, all the candidates will have to submit a copy of the expenditure to the district election Officer.

Candidates contesting the lok sabha elections and assembly by-elections will have to submit their accounts through the register and bill given at the time of nomination.


After this, the final presentation of the accounts will be made on July 3. It is worth noting that 37 candidates contested for the four parliamentary constituencies of himachal pradesh and 25 candidates contested for the by-elections of the assembly constituencies. 19 lakh 70 thousand 754 male and 20 lakh 31 thousand 760 female voters exercised their right on the four lok sabha seats of the state. In this register, the candidates or their agents have to enter the information of daily expenditure. Every political party can release a list of its 40 star campaigners. Half the cost of the star campaigner's rally is borne by the political party and half by the party candidate. No candidate can exceed the expenditure limit set by the election Commission.
