FOPL is the nutritional information written in simple words on the front of the food packaging, which aims to help customers in their food choice.Warning will be given by colorFSSAI is preparing a color warning on the packet of ready-to-eat products. In the first phase, warning will be included on baby food packets. A yellow strip will be made mandatory to indicate the sugar level, in which the amount of sugar will be written. Let us tell you that the data-size of the strip will be in the same ratio.This change will happen in the first phaseAccording to the information received, in the first phase there will be a mandatory warning on the packaging of baby food products, in which the amount of sugar will be written on a yellow slip. The data-size of the yellow slip will be determined by the ratio of the amount of sugar in the product. This means, if a product contains 10 percent sugar, then the yellow slip will essentially cover 10 percent of the front portion of the packaging.
