These days the health department is continuously taking action in Rajasthan. Every day some big raids are being conducted. Big success is also being achieved in this. In this episode, a big action has been taken in Kanota yesterday. A continuous campaign was run by the Medical and health Department against adulteration. Under the direction of Food Safety Commissioner Iqbal Khan, 3200 kg of vegetable sauce was destroyed by taking action in Kanota area.
Additional Commissioner Pankaj Ojha said that the team of Food Safety Officers of jaipur II region raided the factory of M/s Riddhi Siddhi industries located in Gaurav Dhara Colony, Kanota. Here 3200 kg of vegetable sauce was found kept in about 25 plastic drums. This sauce was prepared from pumpkin pulp. Action has been taken on it.
This is how the work was being done
According to the information, the sauce was being prepared by mixing inferior and inedible colors in it. The price of 900 gram packing of this sauce was only 25 rupees, whereas the price of sauce bottles of branded companies in the market is much higher than this. The cleanliness in the factory was also not found to be good. Neither food license nor medical fitness of any employee nor water test report was found on the spot.
Complaints were being received continuously
After taking a sample of this vegetable sauce under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, all the goods were destroyed on the spot. Complaints were being received continuously about this. On which the team has taken action. In this regard, the team has raided different places for the last several days.
