The 394 meter long tunnel was completed in 6 months. This tunnel will facilitate the construction of the 21 km long main tunnel. 7 km of which is under the sea. There is a tunnel in the distance.
The total length of the project is 508.18 km. The bullet train is said to have 12 stations when it runs between ahmedabad and Mumbai. train services on this route are expected to begin at Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai's business district.
