This year, Nautapa has started from 25th May. The sun will wreak havoc for the next 9 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert in Rajasthan. Today the temperature in Bharatpur crossed 43 degrees. During the nine days of Nautapa, the mercury will increase further due to the sun's rays falling directly on the earth. It is said that in Nautapa the distance between the sun and the Earth is the least. The heat reaches its peak in Nautapa.  In Bharatpur, it has become difficult for people to go out due to heat wave and scorching sun. The roads look deserted in the afternoon. There is silence in the market. people are facing intense heat due to the mercury being 43 degrees. Even fans and coolers are failing in the extreme heat. Power cuts have further increased the problem. People's anger can be clearly seen when the lights go off.

Sun will wreak havoc in Nautapa

The number of patients has suddenly increased during the summer season. A large number of patients are reaching RBM Hospital along with their attendants. Dr. Girish Goyal, posted on outdoor duty, said that he has to see around 300-400 patients every day. Most of the cases are of vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain. Patients are being advised to drink ORS along with medicines.

Increase in patients in RBM Hospital

About 47 thousand outdoor patients came in the month of January. The number of outdoor patients has increased to 50 thousand in the month of April. From May 1 to May 23, 59 thousand 285 outdoor patients have been seen in RBM Hospital. There are still 8 days left for the month of May to end. It is believed that the number of patients will increase further. Along with humans, animals and birds are also suffering from the heat.
