In such a situation, to ensure that no citizen in Gurugram remains untouched by the voting process, various unique initiatives are being taken under the guidance of district Election Officer and DC Nishant Kumar Yadav and under the rules laid down by the election commission of India. During the elections, district Election Officer and DC Nishant Kumar Yadav, at the launch of the campaign, took stock of the entire process by visiting voters' houses in village Badha and Fatehpur of Nawada Fatehpur and Sector-56 of gurgaon Assembly. During this, ARO and SDM of gurgaon assembly ravindra Kumar and ARO and SDM of Pataudi assembly Hoshiar Singh were also present.Chose the option to vote from homeIn Gurugram district, 1022 voters expressed their inability to reach the polling station and chose to vote from home. For home voting, 16 polling parties were deployed in Pataudi, 28 in Badshahpur, 17 in gurgaon and 19 in Sohna. Each polling parties included a sector officer, BLO, polling officer, micro observer including a videographer and policemen.Facility to vote sitting at home has been providedThe election commission has provided the facility to senior citizens above 85 years of age as well as more than 40 percent disabled people to vote from home. For this, Form-12D was made available to disabled voters at home through BLO. Through which he had to send his consent by May 3.A total of 80 teams have been formedHe said that there are 50790 voters above 85 years of age and disabled in the district. Out of which only 1022 filled Form-12D. The election commission has given the facility to disabled voters filling Form-12D to vote through postal ballot sitting at home. A total of 80 teams of polling personnel have been formed in the district to conduct door-to-door voting of such disabled voters.
