CBI team investigating the famous Rajnath Sharma incident…The cbi team reached Gopalganj late night on thursday (09 May) to investigate the famous Rajnath Sharma incident in Gopalganj. A team of 15 officers under the leadership of cbi Joint director Rajeev Ranjan is engaged in high level investigation of this incident. From the watchman to the senior police officer are under investigation. The cbi team is busy investigating from the spot of incident till the place where Rajnath Sharma's body was disposed of.During this time evidence and facts are being collected. cbi Inspector mukesh Pandey, who is investigating the incident, is also with senior officials. As soon as the cbi team arrived, there was panic in the police department. cbi is collecting evidence by interrogating common people. The Chowkidar police officer who was present during the torture in the custody of Kateya police station and the senior police officer who helped in covering up the case are also included in the scope of cbi investigation.Police has searched in six statesAfter the matter came before the patna high court, the court had given three weeks time to the bihar police to clarify whether Rajnath Sharma is dead or alive. After that, the then SP anand Kumar formed the team SIT under the leadership of Hathua SDPO naresh Kumar, Inspector Birendra Kumar Singh, Kateya police station Head Mithilesh Pandey, Researcher Jango Ram, Technical Branch police Sub Inspector Dinesh Kumar Yadav and Brajesh Kumar.This team searched for Rajnath Sharma in six states Delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, UP, but the police could not find any clue. police could not prove whether Rajnath is alive or dead. On 11 february 2023, the high court raised questions on the police investigation and directed to hand over the case to CBI. After which this case is now being handled by CBI.
