Delhi chief minister and aam aadmi party (AAP) national convenor arvind kejriwal came out of jail on friday (May 10) after 50 days. As soon as he came out of Gate No. 4 of Tihar Jail, kejriwal, who was riding in the front seat of the car, greeted the people by waving his hand. During this time, rajya sabha MP sandeep Pathak was also present in the car. During this, huge enthusiasm was seen among AAP workers. This is the first time in the country that a cm was arrested while holding the post and remained in jail for such a long time.

Arvind kejriwal was arrested by the central investigation agency ED on march 21 in the delhi Excise Policy case. cm kejriwal challenged his arrest in the supreme Court. During this time, his interim bail hearing was held. The court granted him interim bail for 21 days with certain conditions.

Supreme court imposed condition

Under the bail conditions, he will have to pay a bond of Rs 50 thousand. They will not be able to go to cm office/Delhi Secretariat. Will not be able to sign any file. If necessary, permission will be taken from the Lieutenant governor (LG). Will not give any statement regarding his role in delhi Excise Policy case. Will not contact any witness. Earlier, many Chief Ministers were interrogated by central agencies in other matters, but they were not arrested while they were in office. On january 31, when ED started interrogating JMM leader Hemant Soren in the money laundering case related to the land scam, he was holding the post of CM. However, during the interrogation, he met the governor in ED custody and resigned from the post of CM. Similarly, when arvind kejriwal was arrested on march 21, bjp demanded his resignation. aam aadmi party refused to resign, calling it a big conspiracy. The party says that bjp wants to destroy AAP.
