BJP has held this seat of rajasthan for 3 decades?Jaipur lok sabha seat in rajasthan is called the stronghold of BJP. bjp has been winning here for the last three decades. Till now, bjp has won the elections 8 times in total, in which Girdhari Lal Bhargava has been mp for 6 consecutive times. During that period, nda government was formed at the center several times but Bhargava did not get the opportunity. Whereas, Girdhari Lal Bhargava was considered very close to atal bihari vajpayee and Lal krishna Advani. Still, considering him a hard-working soldier of the party, he was not included in the list of ministers. Not only this, he had never even made any demand for the minister. Whereas, he was fitting all the parameters of the minister which were mentioned at that time. After Bhargava, even when Ramcharan Bohra won the elections for two consecutive times, jaipur city did not get the post of minister.
