Ruckus over petrol pump land, angry people pelted stones?

Villagers pelted stones at the police team in Bharatpur. The incident took place in Bhusawar police station area. The police responded with batons. The police cleared the jam by chasing away the people sitting on protest. police force is deployed on the spot to maintain peace. It is said that the petrol pump has been allotted to former sarpanch of Ghatari, Kaptan Singh. To set up a petrol pump, he had taken the land on lease from Moolchand saini for 20 years.

Attack on police team

Kaptan Singh has also obtained land lease from the municipality and NOC from the district Magistrate. After completing the entire process, he got the petrol pump allotted. Today Kaptan Singh started work to build a petrol pump. The family members of Moolchand saini reached the spot and protested. Moolchand's family members say that former Sarpanch Kaptan Singh has obtained the lease of the land fraudulently. Even after complaining to the municipality, no action was taken. A case was also registered two months ago.

Petrol pump work stopped

It has been told that in the year 2019, former Sarpanch Kaptan Singh had taken 625 square yards of land on lease from Moolchand for 20 years. Moolchand died in the year 2022. Bhusawar police station officer sunil Gupta has told that the petrol pump was allotted in the name of Kaptan Singh. He had taken the land on lease from Moolchand for 20 years. He said that some people are opposing the construction work of the petrol pump. The police who reached the spot to explain had to data-face opposition from the people. In view of the protest, the police has stopped the work of the petrol pump. The case is being investigated.
