Animals will not be seen on the tracks, what is the mission speed?

Mission Raftaa work is going on at a fast pace in Kota division of West Central Railway. The aim is to make trains safe and the travel of passengers easy. The work of Mission Raftaar Project has been divided into three parts. Mathura-Gangapur City 152 km, Gangapur City-Kota 172 km and Kota-Nagda 221 km. The target is to complete the work of Mission Raftaar project by July 2024. The total cost of the project in Nagda-Mathura section is Rs 2665 crore.

In the first phase of the Mission Raftaar project, the work of Mathura-Gangapur City section is included till March, 2024, in the second phase, the work of Gangapur City-Kota section is included till May, 2024 and in the last phase, the work of Kota-Nagda section is included till July, 2024. After this the speed of trains will increase. The project of Railways involves the help of three departments – Electrical, Signal and Telecommunication and Engineering. After the completion of the project, animals will no longer be seen on the railway tracks. The train can run at a speed of 160 km per hour.

Mission Raftaa work continues in Kota division

To prevent cattle from coming on the track, the work of installing boundary walls on both sides, armor system, reducing curves and OHE work is included. The engineering department has so far completed 80 percent of the work of installing boundary walls on both sides of the Nagda to mathura track in a distance of 545 km, the remaining work of 218 km is left. At present, the work of crash barriers is being done at a fast pace for safety on both sides of the track.

Railway project was divided into three parts

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rohit Malviya said that under the Kavach system, Kavach towers are being installed in block sections and Kavach systems are being installed in 87 electric locos. So far, armor systems have been installed in 54 locos out of 87. Also, the work of OHE has almost been completed by the electricity Department in Mathura-Gangapur City section. Divisional officials are regularly reviewing the progress of the ongoing work under the Mission Raftaar project.
