Mahbubnagar lok sabha constituency has become a hot topic in the upcoming elections in Telangana. The three-way competition in this constituency is exciting. This seat is one of the 17 seats in the region. Since 2009, it has been a stronghold of the KCR-led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Earlier, both the bharatiya janata party (BJP) and the congress had hoisted the banner of victory here.
If we look at the 2019 elections, BRS, then known as telangana rashtra samithi (TRS), managed to gain control over this seat. BRS party fielded a new candidate named Manne srinivas reddy who won with 411,402 votes. He won by a narrow margin over bjp candidate DK Aruna who got 3,33,573 votes. congress candidate Challa vamsi Chand reddy was also in the fray, securing 193,631 votes.
As the 2024 lok sabha elections approach, the same key players from the major parties are again in the fray. BRS is supporting Manne srinivas reddy, bjp is supporting DK Aruna and congress is supporting Challa vamsi Chand Reddy. Thanks to their consistent performance in this constituency, BRS is very confident of retaining their seat. Meanwhile, the bjp is slow to increase its votes keeping in mind the tough competition it gave last time. The congress party which is currently in power in the state is expected to favor the political developments.
As part of the fourth phase of the national elections, the people of telangana, including Mahbubnagar, will exercise their right to vote on May 13. Voting will be held on the same day for the entire state, making it a single-phase election. This is a crucial time for all parties competing for voter support in this important constituency. Let's see who will win this time. According to the track record, it seems that the trs candidate has a chance to win.
