For the lok sabha elections on May 13, there will be a silent period beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The hyderabad district election officials have asked anybody carrying more than Rs 50,000 to bring legitimate identification. Model code of conduct (MCC) enforcement will be at its highest, according to election authorities, who stressed the importance of the 72-hour period leading up to polling day.

In the hyderabad district, there are fifteen assembly seats. Each constituency will have one drone deployed to observe voting at sensitive and important polling places. Outside the voting place, CCTV cameras will also be installed as part of the election MCC enforcement. The CCTV cameras were previously installed inside each polling place as part of the webcasting process.

At a news conference, hyderabad district electoral officer (DEO) Ronald Rose stated, "Elaborate arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of elections. In addition to webcasting, 1,250 micro observers are also monitoring the election." Additionally, he reminded everyone that May 11 is the deadline for enrolling on the Saksham App. The software allows those with special needs to sign up, obtain free transportation from their home to the polls, and vote.

Commissioner K. Sreenivasa reddy of the hyderabad police was with him at the news conference. "On May 11, at six o'clock in the evening, campaign activities will be prohibited, and Section 144 will be implemented. This election will see the deployment of some 15,000 police officers, including Central Armed police Forces, he added.

The election officials in hyderabad have also made the decision to inspect the kalyana mandapams, marriage halls, community halls, and other locations where these individuals are housed in order to determine whether or not individuals who do not reside in the relevant lok sabha segments have been accommodated in these spaces. "To maintain tabs on the list of occupants, lodges and guesthouses will also be verified," a hyderabad district election authority official stated.
