Mamata's remarks on the court, development of petition…

Several lawyers, including Vikas Ranjan Bhattacharya, drew the attention of the calcutta high court to the Chief Minister's comments about the court. Drawing the attention of the bench of Chief Justice TS Sivagnam and Justice Hiranmoy Bhattacharya, the lawyers petitioned the calcutta high court to file a case against the comment on its own initiative. On Thursday, CPM leader and lawyer Vikasranjan Bhattacharya said, 'Criminal comments are being made. If no action is taken, everyone will laugh at the court. The chief minister says that the court is sold out. The judge has political views. Judges work with their own judgment. But the whole high court has been sold, why the comment? The court is being dishonored.'

The division bench of the Chief Justice said that an affidavit should be submitted on that claim. Bikash Bhattacharya's application will be heard at 2 pm on Thursday. At the same time, BJP's lawyer Kaustav Bagchio also wrote to the Chief Justice requesting to initiate a contempt of court case against the Chief Minister. On Monday, a division bench of Justice Debanshu Basak and Justice Mohammad Shabbar Rashidi quashed the entire recruitment process of SSC 2016. As a result, a total of 25,753 jobs were canceled in the posts of teachers, group C and group D.

Chief minister Mamata Banerjee protested against this verdict. In a campaign meeting at Galsi in Burdwan, he targeted the bjp and said, 'They have bought the court, I am not talking about the supreme Court. Bought the CBI, bought the BSF!' However, he did not want to say anything about the judges.
