Recently, vishal Patil and congress MLA from Palus-Kadegaon in Sangli district Vishwajit Kadam met top leaders in New delhi and requested them to give Sangli seat in the sugar belt of the state to the state's oldest party. The last date for filing nomination papers for parliamentary seats going to polls in the third phase is april 19.
