For the first phase of voting, 26,371 senior citizens and 9,171 disabled people will vote from home. Chief Electoral Officer praveen Gupta said that the registration work for home voting will be completed on Wednesday.

The Chief Electoral Officer said that the returning officer will share the list of registered home voters with all recognized political parties and candidates by april 1. Booth-level officials are completing the registration process of home voters in all 25 lok sabha constituencies. Gupta said that a special team will be formed for home voting. The special team will reach the residences of registered home voters in the first phase. Political parties and candidates will be present during this period. home voters will vote through postal ballot at their residence.


Voting will be held in two phases on 25 seats in Rajasthan.

In the first phase, home voting will run from april 5 to 14. home voting applications for the second phase of voting can be submitted till april 2. praveen Gupta said that so far 22,500 eligible voters have registered for 'vote from home' in the second phase. Of these, 17,324 are senior citizens and 5,222 are disabled voters. The list of these voters will be shared with political parties and candidates by april 8. home voting for the second phase will take place from april 14 to 21. The Chief Electoral Officer said that home voting was successfully done in the 2023 rajasthan Assembly elections. About 99 percent of the enrolled voters had cast their votes. General elections will be held in two phases on all 25 seats of rajasthan on 19 and 26 April. Voting will be held on 12 lok sabha seats in the first phase.
