RSP will contest elections with Mahayuti…


Rashtriya Samaj party (RSP) chief Mahadev Jankar on sunday (24 March) expressed his commitment to remain with the ruling alliance 'Mahayuti' in Maharashtra. Mahadev Jankar met nationalist congress party (Sharadchandra Pawar) President sharad pawar a few days ago and Pawar asked him to contest elections from the Madha lok sabha constituency.

Mahadev Jankar changed his stand when chief minister Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena), deputy chief minister devendra fadnavis (BJP), and ajit pawar (NCP) met him. Earlier, after meeting sharad pawar on Wednesday, Mahadev Jankar had expressed his displeasure over bjp declaring its candidate from Madha lok sabha seat without taking him into confidence. Mahadev Jankar had told journalists that the discussion was positive.


Knowing that the party will get one seat

After the meeting of cm Shinde, ajit pawar, and fadnavis with Mahadev Jankar, a joint statement was issued on sunday (March 24), in which it was said that under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi, the country is making a lot of progress in terms of development and hence Jankar Will remain with 'Mahayuti'. The statement said that it was decided in the meeting that Jankar's party would be allotted one parliamentary seat.


The RSP leader said that he will work to ensure the victory of Mahayuti candidates in the lok sabha elections. bjp, which announced the names of 20 candidates from maharashtra in its first list, has again nominated Ranjit Singh Naik Nimbalkar from Madha lok sabha constituency. In 2014, Mahadev Jankar contested the elections from the Baramati lok sabha seat against Sharad Pawar's daughter supriya Sule.
