Addressing the third rally of the day at Kalamunari in Hingoli, thackeray said, “The MVA government started good schemes like Shiv Bhojan and also helped people during the coronavirus pandemic. Our government fell because I did not allow investment to go out of Maharashtra.”

What did shiv sena (UBT) President say?

shiv sena (UBT) leader uddhav thackeray on monday targeted bjp for criticizing him over his opening remarks in his address at the opposition alliance 'India' rally in Mumbai. At the rally held in Mumbai's shivaji Park, thackeray addressed the people present there as his “patriotic and patriot-loving brothers and sisters” instead of the traditional address of “Hindu brothers and sisters”. shivaji Park has been associated with shiv sena rallies since the days of Bal Thackeray.

Bal thackeray used to start his speech with the words “My Hindu brothers and sisters”. Addressing a rally at Vasmat in Hingoli district, uddhav thackeray said, “Bharatiya Janata party leaders criticized me on the opening sentence of my speech at the rally but I want to ask them if they are not patriots?” thackeray said he used the word “patriotic” because the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) wants to save the country and democracy. He said, “But some bjp leaders criticized me alleging that my language (stand on Hindutva) has changed. I want to ask him, are you not a patriot? Are you a Modi devotee or a patriot? We are patriots, not Modi devotees.” thackeray appealed to people to stop 'raths' coming to their villages, apparently a reference to the BJP's election campaign.

“If the administration does not take action, then people should take action,” he said. thackeray also criticized sitting Hingoli mp Hemant Patil, who had won the 2019 Lok Sabha election as a shiv sena (Undivided) candidate but recently joined the Eknath Shinde camp.
