Seeing the lok sabha elections approaching, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called a cabinet meeting on Monday. Many important decisions were taken in the meeting and many proposals got green signal. Under Atal Ayushman Yojana, the dialysis center got 100% reimbursement approval. Till now, the health department of uttarakhand government used to reimburse 50 percent. Now 100% reimbursement has been approved. Under the Employment Department, a project worth Rs 630 crore for dollar exchange was also approved.

Under the Energy Department, many points regarding the lakhwar dam Scheme were approved. industries set up under uttarakhand service sector will operate under UBDI. The cabinet approved the rules for hotel management under the Tourism Department. Garhi Negi area in Kashipur was given the status of nagar Panchayat. The Dhami government has shown seriousness in promoting higher education. The government will provide financial assistance to those doing PhD without scholarship. According to the scheme, researchers will be given five thousand rupees per month by the uttarakhand government.

D.El.Ed for primary teacher recruitment

Dhami cabinet also took a big decision for primary teacher candidates. The requirement of B.Ed for primary teacher recruitment has been abolished. Now instead of B.Ed, D.El.Ed pass candidates can participate in the primary teacher recruitment examination. Teacher recruitment standards changed for primary teachers. Approval has been given for Heli Darshan in Kailash area. The cabinet gave approval to run cancer Hospital in Harwala and Haridwar Mother Child Hospital on PPP mode. The effect of the decisions will be seen after the lok sabha election results. The cabinet meeting was held in the secretariat.
